Grant Policy
Each year the Rio Verde Community Foundation awards grants for charitable purposes through a competitive grant making process.
The first step in the competitive grant application process is a pre-application conversation with the RVCF Board. This exchange of information informs the Community Foundation about your organization’s needs, outline your project and ask clarifying questions.
The RVCF makes most competitive grants to organizations which are classified as publicly supported charities in the Internal Revenue Service Code, Section 170(b)(1)(A). Under certain circumstances, grants may be made to private charities, supporting organizations, and non-charities.

- Foundation will be guided by the Vision, Values and Culture Statement adopted in 2023 by both the Rio Verde Community Association and the Club.
